The study found that most guys like girls with big breasts and blonde hair. However, in new book Do Gentleman Really Prefer Blondes? American science journalist Jena Pincott has uncovered a series of scientific factors that are crucial in the mating game. First being the waist-to-height ratio.

The smaller the waist and the curvier the hips, the more attractive a woman looks at first glance, according to the expert.

Adding to that is perfectly symmetrical face – and a near-perfect female is ready. “Not all beautiful faces are symmetrical, not all symmetrical faces are beautiful. But symmetry often plays a role in attraction,” the Daily Star quoted Jena, as saying.

However, it is still the twin assets and blonde hair that catch a man’s eye the most, the study found.

Jena explained, “Breasts are an advertisement of age, health and good genes, which is why anthropologists think they’re crucial to sexual selection even in cultures that don’t eroticise the chest any more than the face.”

She added, “The human eye is attracted to light, bright colours, so blondes stand out more than brunettes.”
